Ornament Christmas Card
We couldn't decide whether we liked the gold sheer ribbon or brown satin ribbon, what's your favorite?
Here's how we made these Ornament cards.
- First: Cut two round tags in early expresso, from the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. Features; Shadow, shift, size 6 1/2. Score one of the tags at the tab and bend inwards; glue to the other round tag to make the card open and close. (hint: only one tab should show on the outside, tab is glued to inside of card)
- Second: Cut two round tags in old olive from the same cartridge used above. Features; blackout, shift, size 6 1/2. Cut the tabs off each of the tags, so they look like round circles. Glue one to the inside of the card, which should cover the inverted tab. Glue the second round tag to the front of the card.
- Third Cut a globe from same cartridge, in your choice of DSP. Features; Shift, size 6 1/4. Cut the circle in half and punch with your choice of border. We used the scallop trim border punch from Stampin Up! I also used a Martha Stewart border punch. Stamp your greeting in the middle so that it shows through the center, we used Curly Cute from Stampin Up! Then attach each piece with dimensionals. Add a ribbon and your done! Super easy.
Hope you enjoyed this card, next post will be a paper Christmas sock that Annie made for her co-workers.
I'll be back tomorrow with more Christmas ideas.
Happy Holidays,
Vicky
